The manufacturers of Dinky, Corgi, Britains, Hornby, Tri-Ang, Armand Marseille and Steiff are regularly included in these auctions.
Pictured right: George III painted wood doll, with black glass eyes and naturalistic carved and painted facial detail, the waisted body with later jointed arms and legs, measuring 69cm high. This doll unsurprisingly had some faults, wear and restoration over the years. Sold for £5600.
