A Vincennes porcelain cup and saucer, circa 1752, each richly gilded with flower sprays within gilt foliate borders reserved against a deep inky blue ground, the underside of the saucer gilded with a laurel garland, underglaze blue interlaced 'L's to base of cup, bearing 'Klaber & Klaber' applied paper label to base of saucer, height of cup approx 7.1cm. Note: a similar coffee can and saucer is illustrated in The Wallace Collection Catalogue of Sèvres Porcelain, Vol.II, p.503, pl.c345
