BAWDEN, Edward (designer). An original watercolour, ink and gouache preliminary border design. [N.p.: n.d. but circa 1953.] Folded card (123 x 185mm.) The designs for a cover and interior border for a Coronation pamphlet, later titled 'A Royal Occasion, Royal Hotel, Scarborough'. The upper cover design containing a pencil note 'Similar design on the back with perhaps a change of colour emphasis…'. (Light browning and minor soiling.) - And a finished pamphlet printed by the Curwen Press incorporating Bawden's design (2).
