A Chinese archaistic jade libation vessel and cover (yi), 18th Century or later, of flattened sauceboat form, the sides finely carved with stylized birds again clouds, the handle entwined by a hammer-headed dragon, the serpentine cover terminating with a two horned mask and surmounted by a pedestal, the stone of pale green/white tone with opaque inclusions, height approx 9cm, together with a carved wood stand (old hairline fractures in handle).
