SCOTT, Robert Falcon. The Voyage of the 'Discovery'. London: Smith, Elder, & Co., 1905. First U.K. edition, 2 vols., 8vo (236 x 163mm.) Photogravure frontispieces, titles printed in red and black, 2 folding maps in pockets at rear, plates and maps (some colour, some double-page), extra-illustrated with a mounted clipped signature by Scott and a 9p stamp featuring Scott, both to recto of frontispiece to vol. I. (Some spotting and light browning.) Original cloth, the upper covers with raised medallions in gilt (extremities slightly bumped). Spence 1051.
