A Charles I silver seal top spoon, the flared hexagonal stem with baluster finial, the top pricked with initials 'WS' above 'AB' and 'NH', the fig-shaped bowl interior with crisp leopard head mark, London 1634 by Edward Hole, length approx 16.8cm. Note: see page 118 of Jackson's English Silversmiths and Their Marks for illustration of maker's mark.
