A mid-18th Century gold repoussé cased plunge quarter repeating open-faced pocket watch, the gilt fusee movement with a verge escapement, with scroll pierced and engraved balance cock and back plate, unsigned, the detachable dust cover detailed 'Geo Clarke London 8951', repeating on a later bell, the inner case with scrollwork, mask engraved and pierced decoration, later backed, the later enamelled dial with black Roman numerals and gilt hands, the outer gold repoussé case decorated with a mythological scene of two figures within a scrollwork pierced border, with one later watch paper, outer case diameter approx 4.8cm.
