A late 19th century Moroccan silex or moukahla rifle with part-round and part-octagonal barrel, barrel length 117cm, strapped with twenty silver metal bands with embossed decoration, shaped steel lock, swan-neck flintlock mechanism and steel ramrod, the stock of typical flared form with ivory panels and all-over silver metal stud decoration (some losses, restoration and repairs). Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
