A Chinese black silk embroidered apron skirt, late Qing dynasty, each side worked in brightly coloured and gilt threads with eight dragon roundels, between bands of dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst flowers, bats and vapours over crashing waves and lishui stripes, all framed by gold thread borders, length 96cm (some faults and losses).
