A Victorian Chesterfield settee, upholstered in blue velour and sections of carpet, raised on turned legs, height 70cm, width 200cm, depth 55cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late Raymond Briggs, the world renowned author and illustrator of The Snowman, Father Christmas and Fungus The Bogeyman. Note: this settee is mentioned in a poem titled 'Waiting' by Raymond Briggs.
