TOOVEY'S NEW WEBSITE, NEW FEATURES

TOOVEY'S are proud of the new features available for you to use on this website, listed below is a brief synopsis of these features.

  • Lot search.  Allowing users to search current auctions. Please note: Lot details for upcoming auctions will not be uploaded to the site until the week prior to each auction.
  • Archive.  This is viewed via the section links on the left and then by clicking on the 'Archive' tab; once clicked a list of sold items within each category will appear.  Archive only stores items that sold and were illustrated, alternatively users can search the archive, as detailed below. 
  • Archive search.  This is activated by clicking the Archive button below 'Search for Lots'.  This displays previously sold items based on the word search entered by the user.  Archive only stores items that sold and were illustrated.
  • Speed of use.  The website has been designed to allow users to quickly navigate to their destination, fast download times for each page have been a priority in creating the site.
  • Registration. All users can now register and log in to activate further new features as detailed below.
  • Commission bidding online.  Once registered via the 'log in' option, you can now securely leave commission bids online; this will appear in the 'My Bids' tab via 'My Tooveys'.  If you use this feature, it will also display if your bid was successful after the auction.
  • Create a wishlist.  Users can now add Lots to a wishlist, often also known as a watchlist on other websites.  By adding Lots to your wishlist when browsing through a catalogue, you can revisit them at a later date without having to search for them again.  You can also bid via this list.
  • Sellers section.  Vendors can use the same registration process; items consigned for the current auction will appear in the 'My Sales' tab.  After the auction, hammer prices achieved will be displayed, where applicable.
  • FAQs page. This page has been created to assist you with some common problems.  If you have a problem, please check this page as the solution may be listed.
