ACKERMANN, Rudolph (publishers). A History of the University of Oxford, its Colleges, Halls, and Public Buildings. London: 1814. 2 vols., 4to (356 x 281mm.) Engraved portrait, 87 hand-coloured plates on 81 leaves. (Occasional light spotting, some offsetting and occasional soiling, occasional marginal tears.) Contemporary boards (rebacked, extremities slightly bumped and scuffed). Provenance: F.W. Searle (bookplates); Enfield Public Library (ink stamp verso of titles, blind stamps to titles, the majority of plates and occasional other leaves).
