A William IV mahogany showframe reclining library armchair by George Minter, upholstered in a buttoned black leatherette, the reclining back and rising seat flanked by a pair of open scroll arms, the seat rail fitted with a pull-out footrest, on turned tapering legs terminating in brass caps and china castors, stamped 'G. Minter... W.R. Patent No. 1747'.
