Together 12 vols., 8vo (218 x 128mm.) Portrait frontispiece to vol. I. (Some spotting and browning.) Contemporary calf gilt, the flat spines in six compartments, lettering pieces to the second and fourth, the others with repeat decoration in gilt (spines slightly rubbed, 1 joint split, a few chipped at head or foot). Provenance: Geo. Bateson (armorial bookplates).
