RUPERT THE BEAR ANNUAL. - [Alfred BESTALL.] The New Adventures of Rupert. [N.p. but London:] Daily Express Publications, [n.d. but 1936.] 4to (248 x 185mm.) Illustrated throughout, most in red and black, a few full-page, all by Bestall. (Full-page illustrations hand-coloured by a child.) Original red cloth blocked in black with Rupert reading a book (extremities slightly soiled and bumped). Provenance: Brian David Cheal (ownership inscription dated Christmas 1936).
