A Chinese Canton export ebony and jade mounted rectangular box, mid-19th Century, the hinge lid inset with an oval pale green jade panel pierced and carved with two deer amongst foliage within a bamboo frame, the top and sides carved with figures, trees and buildings in village scenes, length approx 24.5cm (some faults).
