An Esfahan pictorial prayer rug, Central Persia, early/mid-20th Century, the ivory mihrab with a stream to one corner and overall sprays of flowers, flowering trees, ducks, other birds and a stag, within a red and ivory cartouche border with birds, palmettes and flowering vines, approx 208cm x 144cm (re-fringed).
