FORE-EDGE PAINTING. - Robert Aris WILLMOTT (editor). The Poets of the Nineteenth Century. London & New York: 1857. 4to (218 x 157mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Spotted.) Contemporary morocco gilt, the covers elaborately tooled in gilt with a Grecian urn within fillet borders, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e. with a watercolour fore-edge painting of Windsor Castle (extremities lightly scuffed).
