SINGH, Jagatjit. My Travels in China, Japan and Java, 1903. London: Hutchinson & Co., 1905. 4to (272 x 197mm.) Title in red and black, portrait frontispiece, numerous plates. (Some spotting.) Contemporary vellum elaborately blocked in gilt, the upper cover with centrally placed armorial incorporating red and blue onlays contained within fillet borders, the spine in five compartments with raised bands, morocco lettering pieces to the second and fourth the others with a floral motif, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (slightly soiled and warped). Provenance: His Highness the Agha Khan (inscription 'Presented to H.H., Agha Khan with the author's kind regards. Kapurthala 7th Jan 1906' to preliminary blank).
