A Chinese iron red decorated ovoid jar and cover, mark of Jiaqing but later, the body painted with a design of Buddhistic lion cubs playing with brocade balls amongst vapours, beneath a ruyi head collar, pseudo seal mark in iron red to base, height approx 22cm.
