A Japanese Satsuma earthenware toy box and cover, by Kinkozan, Meiji period, of near spherical form, the cover finely painted with a fan shaped panel depicting a family picnic, reserved against a blue ground overlaid with gilt scrolling tendrils, repeated on the base, Kinkozan paper label to cover interior, diameter approx 3.5cm.
