A Chinese ivory scholars table screen, possibly early Qing dynasty, one side carved in low relief with a mounted scholar and his attendants beneath a rocky crag with two scholars drinking wine in a Transitional landscape, traces of polychrome pigments, the reverse carved in low relief with a vessel and cartouche, height approx 20cm.
