LOT 1265
A pair of Japanese inlaid and lacquered hardwood rectangular panels depicting a continuous scene, Meiji period, finely worked with carved mother-of-pearl, ivory and gilded lacquer with a scene of five figures pulling a cart laden with a flower charged basket accompanied by four other figures and a child in attendance, in an undulating landscape beneath blossoming branches, the frames with gilt scroll decoration, approx 21.5cm x 42cm.
