PLUCHE, Noel Antoine. The History of the Heavens. London: 1740. First edition in English, 2 vols., 8vo (200 x 122mm.) 12mo frontispieces and 22 12mo engravings only (of 23), all mounted as issued. (Minor spotting to first and last few leaves.) Near contemporary calf (slightly scuffed and soiled, upper joint split to foot of vol. II).
