DICKENS Charles. The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. London: Chapman and Hall, 1839. First edition in book form, 8vo (210 x 129mm.) Frontispiece, 39 plates by 'Phiz' [H.K. Browne.] (Plates browned as usual, occasional light browning to text leaves). Modern red half-morocco, by Lewis & Harris Ltd, Bath, spine gilt, t.e.g. (slight discolouration to cloth on upper cover). Note: p.123 'visiter' instead of 'sister'. - And two others by Dickens, one similarly bound (3).
