A George III fine needlework alphabetical sampler by Charlotte Leslie, dated 1772, the letters above geometric bands and floral sprigs within an undulating floral border, worked with coloured threads and wools in various stitches, including running, blanket and cross stitches, on a cream canvas ground, approx 32cm x 27cm, together with a similar panel, possibly by the same hand, approx 32cm x 27cm, both within gilt composition frames.
