A Chinese famille verte enamelled biscuit porcelain teapot and cover, probably 19th Century, modelled as an octagonal baluster vase painted with leaping horses on a wave and prunus ground, moulded with a mask and tongue spout, flanked by a standing Buddhistic lion handle resting a foot on a brocade ball, the rectangular base painted with flowers, height approx 21.5cm (faults).
