A Chinese Canton export ivory card case and cover, mid-19th Century, of serpentine outline, one side carved in high relief with a shaped panel filled with a figural scene within a surround of dense flowers, the flat reverse carved with a typical village scene of figures, pavilions and trees, length approx 11.5cm (faults).
