LOT 1087
A Chinese Canton export ivory card case and cover, mid-19th Century, of serpentine outline, one side carved and pierced in high relief with various fish, crabs and crayfish amongst weeds, the eyes picked out in mother-of-pearl, the flat reverse with figures, trees and pavilions in a village setting, length approx 9.5cm (small chip to reverse rim).
