A 19th Century Holy Land mother-of-pearl and olive nativity scene, the arched niche containing carved relief figures, titled 'Nativitas D.N.J.C', within an elaborately carved and pierced frame of scrolls and foliage, cornered with foliate medallion roundels, the surmount inscribed 'Alleluja', the apron 'Str De Bethléem', on a metal easel stand, height approx 37cm (minor faults).
