An early 19th Century needlework sampler by M. Firth, 'Taught by E. Room', the bands of numbers and letters above pious text and a panel of trees, flowers, birds and sheep, worked with coloured wools in cross stitch, approx 33cm x 32cm, within a moulded mahogany frame.
