LOT 926
A late 18th Century mahogany and brass telescope, on a brass tripod stand and turned mahogany base, the solid one piece mahogany tube with internal fine rack and pinion focusing, total length approx 148cm. Note: this telescope may have been used at semaphore signalling towers between Plymouth and London during the Napoleonic Wars.
