An early 19th Century alphabetical and numerical needlework sampler by Margaret Pattie, aged 11, the bands of letters and numbers above a central urn of flowers, flanked by trees, birds and animals, all within a strawberry border, worked with coloured wools in cross stitch, approx 43cm x 26.5cm, framed.
