JOHNS, W.E. Biggles in Australia. London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1955. First edition, 8vo (186 x 119mm.) 6 coloured plates by Studio Stead. (Occasional minor soiling or light browning, mostly to first and last few leaves.) Original cloth (head and foot of spine lightly bumped), dust-jacket (creased and torn with slight loss, adhesive tape repair to head of spine and fold). Provenance: John Woods (presentation inscription signed by the author 'To John Woods / With best wishes / from the author / 1955 / W.E. Johns' with accompanying sketch of a bi-plane flying above clouds and a landscape).
