SWIFT, Jonathan. The Works. London: 1755-1768. 23 vols. (only), 8vo (212 x 125mm.) Some titles printed in red and black, 24 plates. (Some spotting and browning.) Contemporary speckled calf (some scuffing and chipping, joints splitting, spines rubbed and scuffed, lacking some lettering pieces). Note: this set comprises 17 vols. of The Works (including new volumes reprinted or added to the original series) and six volumes of 'The Letters…', but lacks the supplemental volume of 1776 and ?other supplemental volumes (23).
