BINDINGS. - William ADAMS. Sacred Allegories… new edition. London: 1859. 8vo (219 x 152mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Some spotting.) Contemporary blue morocco gilt, by Hayday, the cover elaborately panelled in gilt, the spines in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and last, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, g.e. (extremities slightly scuffed). Provenance: Lucy Greenwood (presentation inscription to front-free endpaper dated 1859); Frank O. Rowland (ink-stamp to preliminary blank). - And twelve others, all leather-bound (13).
