Portrait frontispiece. Original morocco-backed cloth by Sangorski and Sutcliffe (extremities lightly bumped). Provenance: C.J. Reynolds (signature dated 1939 to front-free endpaper); C.L. Pielow (signature dated 1970 to front-free endpaper).
