BIBLE, in Latin, 13th Century. [A manuscript vellum leaf from a Bible. N.p.: n.d. but late 13th Century.] 1 vellum leaf (220 x 145mm.), the double-column text in brown ink with occasional highlighting in red, each side with a single illuminated initial in blue, white and pink highlighted in copper-gilt, with feint pencil guide-lines. (Minor light browning.) Provenance: Chester Beatty (stated on Folio Fine Art Ltd. label on verso of mount, also given Folio Fine Art stock number 'MS 3703').
