A Chinese blue silk embroidered formal court robe (chi fu), 20th Century, worked with gilt dragons surrounded by vari-coloured pearls, bats, precious objects, emblems, fruit and vapours on a dark blue ground, above waves and multi-coloured diagonal striped hem, the black silk borders and horse-shoe cuffs similarly decorated, length approx 140cm.
