A Japanese brown patinated bronze samovar, Meiji period, the cover with key fret border and shishi finial, the ovoid body cast with foliate pendants and floral filled ruyi head collar, flanked by a pair of Buddhistic lion head and tongue handles, above a dragons head spout, on a peacock feather spreading base, height approx 65cm.
