Two sections of a 17th Century Italian magenta-toned velvet ecclesiastical stole, each with two applied tondo panels, one of the Virgin Mary and Christ, the other of saints, within scrollwork and leaf tendril designs and a yellow silk border, worked with gilt threads, later backed in hessian, approx 87cm x 21cm and 84cm x 21cm.
