                A Victorian needlework sampler by M. Firth, 'taught by E. Room', the pious verse above a pair of fruit trees, flowers, birds and two lambs, within an undulating border, worked in coloured threads in cross stitch, approx 32cm x 32cm, within a period moulded mahogany frame.
