A Japanese polished bronze planter, probably Meiji period, of rectangular form, the sides cast in relief with four panels filled with minnogame, dragon, ho-o bird and kylin, flanked by a pair of upright rectangular handles with key fret borders, on scroll feet, cast nine character seal mark to base, length approx 43cm.
