LOT 400
An Edwardian silver mounted tortoiseshell desk set comprising inkstand, pair of trays and a blotting pad, the inkstand with three quarter gallery applied with silver bellflower border and festoons, the stand fitted with a cut and polished glass inkwell with silver collar and tortoiseshell hinge lid, flanked by piqué inlaid medallions and bellflower swags applied with a pair of scroll pen rests, on bracket feet, London 1904 by William Comyns, the trays and blotter cover similarly decorated, length of inkstand approx 30.5cm, length of trays approx 29cm, length of blotter approx 30.5cm.
