A Japanese blue and white porcelain bowl, 19th Century, the interior painted with two sages standing beside a pine tree and rocks, beneath a square rim with canted corners filled with a fenced garden, underglaze blue six character mark to base, (minor chip to rim), together with a Japanese Imari circular bowl, Meiji period, the interior painted with panels of pine, peony and prunus, against a gilt ground filled with phoenix and foliage, the exterior with flowers and foliage.
