A large Chinese famille rose porcelain ornamental vase, mid-19th Century, of hexagonal true baluster form with a pair of green and blue ruyi sceptre handles, the dense brown whorl ground filled with polychrome flowerheads, green leaves and tendrils, reserved with broad and narrow landscape scenes with figures and buildings, height approx 89.5cm (hairline crack around neck).
