COOK, Frederick A. My Attainment of the Pole, being the Record of the Expedition that First Reached the Boreal Center 1907-1909. New York: The Polar Publishing Co., 1911. First edition, 4to (250 x 184mm.) Portrait frontispiece, 31 plates. (Minor light browning, small marginal tear to pp.39 & 53.) Original decorated cloth (head and foot of spine lightly bumped). Provenance: Reuben Bullock (prize certificate to front pastedown). - And one other volume of similar interest (Robert E. Peary, 'The North Pole', London: 1910, 4to) (2).
