First English edition, 8vo (253 x 184mm.) Title printed in brown and black, 8 coloured plates, numerous illustrations, folding map at rear. (Occasional minor spotting.) Original cloth blocked in silver (head and foot of spine bumped). - And one other first edition by Rasmussen ('The People of the Polar North, a Record' London: 1908, 8vo.) (2).
