BRANDON, Dean (editor). The Falkland Islands Magazine. Port Stanley, Falklands Islands: printed by Miss Willis, January 1901-December 1902. Vol. XII, no 9 to vol. XIV, no 8, only, 8vo (270 x 178mm.) Printed on green and white paper. (Some spotting and browning, worm damage to last few parts.) Contemporary black cloth, original wrappers bound-in. (Occasionally slightly shaved without loss.) Provenance: Miss A. Felton (inkstamp to front endpapers, occasional inscription to upper covers of wrappers). Note: this magazine offers a comprehensive record of social history in the Islands, covering notable events and a wide range of local news, including births, deaths, marriages, bazaars and shipping movements. - And one other volume containing parts of 'The Falkland Islands Magazine and Church Paper' January 1909-December 1910 (2).
