First English edition, 2nd impression, 2 vols., 8vo (227 x 161mm.) Frontispieces, folding maps, 2 folding charts, folding plan of the Fram, numerous plates. (Occasional light browning, occasional spotting, mostly to fore-edges.) Original red cloth with Norwegian flags to the upper covers and spines (extremities bumped). Note: published a month after the first printing."
